Four New OXO Products to Get Excited About

Spring is a time for new beginnings… or in our case, new arrivals. Check out some of our biggest and most exciting launches happening this season.

 

Silicone Egg Poacher – From swirling water in a pot to relying on the plastic bag technique, there are a ton of time-consuming and stressful ways to poach an egg, and the toughest part is that the results tend to vary. We love a poached eggs on everything from eggs benedict to avocado toast, which is why we designed the Silicone Egg Poacher. The high-heat resistant silicone body cradles the egg while the funnel shape guides the egg into the water without breaking the yolk. The carefully designed hole pattern optimizes water flow around the eggs for even cooking.

 

Chef’s Mandoline Slicer 2.0  – Slice fruits and vegetables with chef-like precision without needing professional knife skills… or a knife at all. We released our first Mandoline over 10 years ago, and have been perfecting the art of slicing and dicing ever since. The Chef’s Mandoline Slicer 2.0 is a combination of the best features of our original Chef’s Mandoline Slicer plus updates to make it even easier to use. We switched to an angled blade for smooth slicing and a top view indicator to make it easy to switch between all 21 blade settings so you can make fries, waffle cuts, crinkled cuts, julienne slices and more.

 

Glass Bowls– We observed people (short and tall) using mixing bowls with hand mixers and spatulas to design our unique Glass Bowls. The shape was carefully designed to make it easy to hold steady and not put strain on your mixing arm, while the walls are designed to be slightly taller to prevent splatter when mixing. There’s also a wide rim for comfortable handling while mixing, pouring, cleaning and transporting. The bowls are made from durable borosilicate glass and can go anywhere from countertop to freezer to microwave.

 

Thermocouple Thermometer – Just in time for grilling season, meet the newest addition to the Chef’s Precision thermometer line. Engineered for accuracy to ensure professional-quality results every time, the Thermocouple Thermometer will be your go-to for cooking meat and fish. It provides temperature readings in seconds with an accuracy of ±0.9°F so you can ensure your steaks, fish, chicken and more will be cooked exactly to the degree you want. The Thermometer is easy to use – the unique dial feature on the body allows you to open and close the probe without the need to touch it, which helps prevent damage to the thermometer and is more sanitary to use. The probe also over rotates, and combined with our auto rotating backlit screen, the thermometer is great for lefties and righties.
